Vijay Inder Singla, Congress candidate from Anandpur Sahib Constituency, campaigned and addressed a gathering in Mohali and Kharar today. His rally garnered support from notable figures such as Swaranjit Kaur, Congress Jila Pradhan Mahila, and Kamal Kishore Kala, Congress Pradhan.
Addressing the gathered crowds in several public meetings, Vijay Inder Singla expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support shown towards the Congress party despite the scorching heat. He emphasized the importance of upholding democracy and defending the constitutional legacy, asserting the Congress’s commitment to opposing the autocratic governance of the BJP.
Speaking to the media, Vijay Inder Singla said, “Today the country is facing significant challenges, the current BJP government is endangering the foundation of our country’s constitution. It has turned the army recruitment into a fraudulent process. Punjab’s Economy relies on Agriculture and Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s Government has decided to implement MSP. This current government is weighing heavily on every societal class, and the Congress is the line of defense against these intrusions of various institutions, be it media, ED OR CBI.”
“Congress has always strived to bring prosperity to Punjab, After PGI, Sangrur has the biggest hospital made at the time of Congress Government. We are coordinating our efforts to improve our state and country. We want to address the urgent issues that Punjab and the country is facing, through our manifesto. These promises portend better things to come for the people of Punjab and the country at large.” He further added.
Singla’s day-long campaign spanned from Landran Road, Bhuru Chownk Kharar to Dusehra Ground, Kharar, continuing with addresses in Sector 78, Mohali, Nagar Khera Dharamshala, Kurali, and Tempo Union Mullanpur.
