This is for the kind information of general public that the “Under Smart City Project”, the construction work of Pedestrian Underpass between Sector 17 and Rose Garden will be undertaken in two phases. The underpass will be constructed by excavating the main carriageway and slow carriageway of Jan Marg. This work will be undertaken by closing the road partially.
As above in the 1st phase of this work, the service lane and main carriageway (behind RBI and James Plaza Hotel) on Jan Marg from Matka Chowk to Sector 16/17 Light Point will be closed for traffic for a period of three (03) months from 4.12.2017 onwards. In the 2nd Phase, the main carriageway (towards Rose Garden) will be closed, after completion of 1st Phase of work.
The road users are therefore, advised to use the detour as per annexed map during this period. The road users intend to go towards Cricket Stadium Chowk on Udyog Path from Matka Chowk on Madhya Marg are requested to take left turn towards Taj Hotel Light Point, turn right towards Lyons Light Point, again turn right towards 16/17 Light Point and finally turn left towards Cricket Stadium Chowk.
Inconvenience caused to general public on account of these restrictions is regretted. Diversion map is also annexed.
