Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 20.03.2018. Accused later on Bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested for Snatching

Sh. Chandan Kumar R/o # 1067, Tin Colony, Sector-52, Chandigarh alleged that one unknown person snatched away his purse containing near cash Rs. 4,000/- near Govt. School, Burail, Chandigarh on 20.03.2018. A case FIR No. 103, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later accused namely Manu R/o # 840, Village Burail, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 33, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Village Kansal (PB) against driver of car No. CH-01BJ-8137 who hit to complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB-65Q-7837 at backside Showroom near public toilet, Sector 9/D, Chandigarh on 20.03.2018. Complainant’ friend (Pillion rider) got injured admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

2018. Manpreet Singh R/o Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Mari Wala Town Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs. 50,000/- from Gurudwara on night intervening 19/20-03-2018. A case FIR No. 117, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Sh. Vijay Yadav R/o # 1604, Phase-10, Mohali (PB) alleged that Sangam Lal R/o # 685, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarhcheated complainant regarding investment in lottery fund scheme. A case FIR No. 119, U/S 420 IPC & 3, 4 Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Kidnapped

A lady resident of Sector 52, Chandigarh reported that her son age about 13 years has been missing/abducted from Sector 52, Chandigarh since 20.03.2018. A case FIR No. 90, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
