Trident Stallions’ excellent performance continued in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup and the team defeated Intersoft Titans by 42 runs in a low-scoring match. In the match, Trident Stallions batted first and scored 154/6 in 20 overs, but in response, the team Intersoft Titans could only score 112/8 in 20 overs.
Salil Arora, who is scoring runs consistently for Trident, once again proved to be a troubleshooter. He played an unbeaten innings of 60 runs off 40 balls. It included 5 fours and 2 sixes. In reply, Trident did not give the Titans a chance to recover and took wickets continuously. The bowlers did not allow any partnership to be formed, due to which the Intersoft Titans team could only score 112/8 runs. Geetansh Kheda scored 42 runs in 35 balls, but he could not prevent the team’s defeat. From Trident Stallions’ side, Baltej Singh, Aryaman Singh and Ravinder Singh Brar dismissed 2-2 batsmen each.
