Now, in order to seek votes for the Chandigarh Ki Aawaz Party’s candidate Avinash Singh Sharma, his friends, TV actor Phool Singh and singer Priya Malik have also come to Chandigarh. Two public meetings were organized in Dhanas village and colony, in which thousands of people participated. Lead actor on various shows broadcasted on SAB TV and Colours channel, Phool Singh asked people to vote on the basis of work done.
Overwhelming majority of the crowd present there promised to vote for Avinash Sharma with . Singer Priya not only sang beautifully but also went on seeking votes for Sharma in unique way . On this occasion, Avinash Sharma promised the residents that if he is elected as the Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, he will not let anybody’s house get demolished. He told the people living in EWS / LIG flats that they the smaller flats below 50 square meters had already been granted ownership in the year 1996, as published in the Chandigarh tenure Rules 1996 in Chandigarh Gazette. But the publication of this gazette was kept hidden from the residents and in return they were being charged for lease of which they were never applicable for .

He further said that he had filed a PIL in Punjab Haryana High Court in 2018 , following to which notices were sent to DC Chandigarh, Home Secretary Chandigarh, and other housing board officials to answer for the invalid collection which they had been recovering from the residents. He said that as soon as he comes into power, he would provide compensation to all the residents with no more recovering of lease from poors. Present on the occasion were Dhanas party incharge Nand Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Anil Singh, Niku Khan, Rajkumar, Bhola and others.
