Teacher’s day celebrated at Shemrock School
Teachers should follow the footsteps of Dr. Radhakrishnan to become role models – Chairman Bajwa
Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali celebrated Teachers’ Day with fervour and enthusiasm. A cultural programme, prepared and presented by the students for the teachers. Different Students presented different items like ‘Saraswati vandana’, speech on teacher-student relations, Poetry recitation , Song, Western Dance, Shabad, Bhangra, highlighting everlasting influence of a teacher and a skit to give the message for better coordination among teachers and students. The students thanked their teachers for helping them to approaching their destined goal and enabling them to do better their lives.
The principal Parneet Sohal exhorted the teachers to follow in the footsteps of Dr. Radhakrishnan and should become role models of their students. She further added that the teachers should update their knowledge from time to time as there is fast development all around. On the other hand students should also imbibe values of hard work and discipline from their teachers.

A.S.Bajwa, Chairman, Shemrock School, congratulated the teachers and asked them to always strive to improve the all-round personality of their pupils and teach them the lesson of simple living and high thinking. He further added that the greatest honour for a teacher could be the love, affection and reverence that she/he received from his pupils by his dedicated efforts. The sumptuous lunch was too hosted by management at the end of the celebration.
