Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, UT, Chandigarh awarded commendation certificate of first class along with cash components to the two persons namely 1) Mr. Kapil Behal S/o Sh. S.L Behal R/o # 703/12, BDC Sec-26, Chandigarh and 2) Rajat Choudhary S/o Raj Choudhary S/o Raj Kumar Choudhary R/o # 750/1, EWS Flat BDC Sec-26 who showed their promptness and nabbed/ apprehended one snatcher who snatched away mobile phone from a lady near dividing road, Sector 7/8,Chandigarh on 18.09.18.
Both Kapil Behal and Rajat Choudhary was passerby near the spot and apprehended the accused person Raj Lohar R/o # 222, Daddu Majra, Chandigarh age about 22 years near the spot. In this regard a case FIR No. 302, U/S 379, 356, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh.
As, the prompt action/efforts done by Mr. Kapil Behal & Rajat Choudhary for nabbing the accused person, so they have been awarded with commendation certificate and cash reward by Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, UT, Chandigarh at Police Headquarters, UT, Chandigarh.
