Seven day long Ram Katha concludes in Punjab Raj Bhavan: Seven day long Ram Katha concluded at Punjab Raj Bhavan. Hundreds of devotees and dignitaries from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh attended the concluding day of Ram Katha.
Interestingly, the event became one of its kind with the presence of Governors of Five States included Haryana, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Punjab and the Chief Ministers of two States namely Punjab and Haryana attending the Ram Katha on various days as the Chief Guests. Besides, various Member Parliaments, Speakers, former Governors and Ex-Ministers and MLAs attended the weeklong programme.

In the brief vote of thanks, Governor of Punjab, Shri Banwarilal Purohit said that we have been fortunate to attend and listen to Sri Ram Katha from learned Vijay Kaushal Ji Maharaj. His discourse has elevated the environment and filled it with knowledge and spirituality. “Raj Bhavan Ram Mayi Ho Gaya” – Raj Bhavan has been blessed with the grace of Lord Rama said Banwarilal Purohit. He said that Indian civilisation is the oldest and has successfully survived the onslaughts of time because it is based on spirituality. Let us keep learning from our saints and sages and follow the path of righteousness.

Vijay Kaushal Ji Maharaj’s touching narration of Sita Ji leaving his father’s house after marriage to Sri Ram moved the devotees to tears .
