With the blessings of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, a Sanyojak level English medium Samagm was organised at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30-A, Chandigarh, where Shri H.S Nirman Ji stressed on the significance of youth in spreading the Mission’s message of peace and brotherhood, to make this world a happy place. Devotees from Sectors 30, 40, 45, 15 and Manimajra branches of the Mission participated in the Samagam and also contributed their thoughts in the form of songs and speeches.

Shri H.S Nirman Ji speaking of youth as the future of the Mission, stated that the youngsters expressing their views here today, have demonstrated that they have reached the stage where Baba Hardev Singh Ji and Satguru Mata Ji so desired. He further said that there is extreme negativity and downfall of human values that one sees today in the world. But, there is no benefit of holding ill-will towards anyone, and getting attracted towards negativity. It is imperative that we have positive thoughts so that Satguru Mata Ji resides in our hearts. The devotion to the true Satguru is the only way to divine living and happiness, he stated. Let us become a sincere student, and implement all that the Satguru says, in our lives and adhere to it.

Taking instances from Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s book ‘Stream of Thoughts’ he said that humans have the tendency to control everything, which instils negativity. But, the only rule that we have here is that we do not follow negativity. We have God-knowledge because we are blessed and our flaws have been ignored, so we also have to ignore others’ flaws and only look at their virtues, he said. We have to take this knowledge to others and connect them to the Almighty, especially when they are in distress, as that is when it will motivate them the most to get connected with the truth of the Oversoul.

Devotees expressed their thoughts on topics like ‘Harmony between sangat life and personal life’, ‘How to build bridges between humans, different generation and relations?’, ‘Role of youth in spreading The Mission’, ‘Spirituality in the world of science’, ‘Selfless sewa’ and ‘Build bridges not walls’. The emphasis was given to the need of spirituality in the time where the youth is driven towards technology, to make the best use of it. Besides, there was a quiz based on the book titled ‘Stream of Thoughts’ by Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. There were also contributions in the form of poetical recitations, skits, mono-acting, group English songs and more about the essence of the Mission and the Avtar Bani.

Additional Sanyojak Shri Tarsem Lal Ji, delivering the Vote of Thanks, said that it is with the blessings of the Satguru that this programme was conducted. He thanked Smt. Joginder Kaur Ji, Executive Member In-charge, Seminars and Prachar Training and Member, Disciplinary Committees and Branch In-charge in the region, for her valuable guidance.
