Sanskritik Mahotsav to be held for celebrating Indian culture

Delhi to host Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya, the largest cultural and spiritual event of India

 In the interest of safety and prosperity of the country, an 8-day long Sanskritik Mahotsav will be organized under the aegis of Shree Yogini Peetham. Shri Maheish Girri – MP East Delhi and National Secretary of BJP, announced the event in New Delhi.

As a part of this Mahotsav, Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya will be conducted from March 18 – 25, 2018 by 1111 learned Brahmins offering oblations to Maa Paramba Bhagavati Baglamukhi in 108 yagya kunds at Lal Qila Maidan in New Delhi. The Vedic village will be designed by Nitin Chandrakant Desai – a noted Indian art director. During the Mahayagya, the spiritual Gurus will join this auspicious initiative from across the country and 2.25 crore mantras will be chanted that will energise the entire nation with positive aura.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Maheish Girri said, “The Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya is an institution created with the sole objective of ensuring that our nation’s security, prosperity and progress becomes a way of life of every Indian. We also seek to revive the spirit of nationalism and dedication to the rich heritage and legacy of our nation.”

 A recreation of our nation’s rich heritage and legacy, this Mahayagya will represent a true Sanskritik Mahotsav that celebrates Indian culture. Besides this, the Mahayagya will also seek to ensure a flourishing economy, professional and personal growth, and a rise in the intellectual and spiritual faculties of all Indians.

The Mahayagya is expected to be attended by prominent Political Leaders, renowned Religious & Spiritual Gurus, Bureaucrats, Bollywood celebrities and corporate stalwarts.

To propagate participation of everyone across India, “Ghee Rath Yatra” will be conducted to collect the “Ek Chamach Ghee” from all the states for offering oblations during the Mahayagya. Followed by this would be “Devi Rath Yatra” marking the entry of the deity’s statue to New Delhi where Mahayagya will be performed. Large number of women are expected to walk with the Kalash & various cultural, art and dance performances shall be a part of the Yatra.

During the 8 days of Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya, 8 Sankalps (vows) will be taken by the participants with an aim to attain eternal prosperity. These Sankalps will rekindle the bond that every Indian shares with the nation.

Artists from all over the nation will grace the stage reflecting the nation’s cultural heritage, every evening. The performances will celebrate India’s diversity through dance, music and folk art.

The Rashtra Raksha Mahayagya is an endeavor to invoke devotion for the nation and bring a heightened sense of pride of being an Indian, through our age-old tradition of yagya, a spiritual method to be one with the cause.
