About last night! An unprecedented move made by the organization- Unisys Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. and Saga Music, which has been quite in news for all the good reasons. The company held an industry driven; star studded event called ‘SAGA NIGHTS- a dream platform from dreamers’. It was lit with all the glam, dazzle, and sparkle; full of entertainment and glamour quotient. Not only this, the event brought the entire industry under one roof; something which has never happened in the past. It was attended by the industry biggies and graced by the Hon’ble cabinet minister of Punjab, Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi. A one of a kind event, which aims at creating a platform which shall embark the journey of a dreamer on the stairway to stardom- excitement instilled with responsibility!
Saga Nights witnessed the presence of renowned artists like Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, Karamjit Anmol, Charan Ahuja and many others. The highlight of the event was the launch a new face, a new artist, a performer, a #SagaStar- Raman Romana, whose latest released single ‘Selfish Mahiya’ has been doing rounds on the internet and television ever since its release. The event was both an entertaining, and an informative one. The entertainment segment of the event included some power packed performances by Charan Ahuja, Raman herself, and a rib-tickling performance by the renowned standup comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia. Saga Music team, I believe, thinks on a different tangent altogether!
The industry insights given by the top management personnel of the organization explained about the growth journey of the Punjabi entertainment industry, and where it tends to reach in the near future. The event garnered much appreciation from the entire industry, which is a well-deserved one. When spoken with the CEO of Unisys Infosolutions- the man behind this vision, Mr. Sumeet Singh, he said, “Punjabi Film, and Entertainment Industry has grown by leaps and bounds, and being a part of this industry I feel equally responsible to help the growth curve move upwards in the positive direction. This is a change of pace, and this shall break the ice amongst the industry people, and open up a window to stardom for all those who wish to become a renowned face in the near future.”
