Road Safety Education Awareness Program by the Team of CTP visited Dev Samaj College, Sec-36 & Dev Samaj School, Sec-21, Chd to aware the students of the college & School to wear helmets by the females. In morning event Insp. Sita Devi I/C CTP, Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Principal of the college along with 10 professors and about 150 students of the NSS unit of college were present. During the campaign literature on Road Safety were distributed among them.
Insp. Sita Devi delivered a lecture on “to wear Helmet by women riders and pillion riders on two wheelers”. Videos on cause of accidents were shown, HC Bhupinder Singh sang a song on the subject to encourage the use of helmets while driving two wheelers by females. And a quiz competition on the Road Safety to wear helmets by the women was held. Winners of the quiz were distributed trophies.
In the afternoon event at Dev Samaj School, Sec-21, Chd Insp Sita Devi I/C CTP, Mrs.Loveleen Bedi, Principal Dev Samaj School alongwith 2 teachers and near about 110 co-students participated the campaign, Insp. Sita Devi delivered a lecture on “to wear Helmet by women riders and pillion riders on two wheelers” & 400 copies of literature on Road Safety were distributed among the students.A quiz competition on the Road Safety to wear helmets by the women was held. Best three winners were awarded with trophies. , HC Bhupinder Singh sang a song on the subject to encourage the use of helmets at the end of the event.
