RIMT World School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great pomp and show on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. To appreciate and express their gratitude towards their grandparents, the tiny tots of the Pre-primary section staged a cultural programme at their school premises.
The children expressed their love and gratitude for their grandparents through poems, singing and dancing. They started the event with a musical play and sang old Bollywood songs and danced on some great retro foot tapping numbers.
A skit showcasing the safe and enriching environment that grandparents provide for their grandchildren was a delight. It was a visual treat to watch the children take charge on the stage. They were all excited to perform before their grandparents.
The grandparents were very happy to see their grandchildren performing and applauded their confidence.
Speaking on the occasion the Principal, Mrs. Poonam Katoch highlighted the important role the grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren.
