Revolutionising Indian Railways: NFT Certificates & Blockchain Tech adoption after the game-changing workshop in NAIR
Chandigarh, Recently a ground-breaking workshop was held to discuss the integration of Blockchain technology into the Railway industry at the National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR).
NAIR took this initiative to educate Railways officers/leaders on the potential benefits of Blockchain and Emerging Technologies in Railways industry.
Indian Railways leveraged Blockchain technology by digitizing training certificates with NFT, as a result, of the success and wide acceptance of this workshop focused on modernizing itself with Blockchain. At the forefront of blockchain technology, Chandigarh based Narendra N Shukla CTO ChainCodeConsulting LLP demonstrated how Indian Railways could quickly re-engineer and enhance Indian Railways operations. The workshop also provided a unique platform where CCL demystified the clout and hesitations surrounding the early adoption of Emerging Technologies while evangelizing the ease of use and integration, given the excellence and command CCL possesses through its many years of experience in delivering high-value, user-friendly products, and services.
The workshop was the brainchild of Prof. Vijay Malviya, Course Director at NAIR along with Dr Satya N Gupta, Chairman, Blockchain for Productivity Forum, and was powered by Chandigarh based ChainCode Consulting LLP, represented by Alok Gupta (Founder & CEO), also the Chief Architect in Enterprise Blockchain Applications and Shri Narendra N Shukla (CTO & Emerging Tech-Business Head), who are industry leaders and subject matter experts in Blockchain and Emerging Technology. In partnership with Polygon, Phygital NFT Certificates were minted by ChainCode Consulting on the Polygon ecosystem and were rolled out to the participants.
During the workshop for Railways, a diverse mix of participants from all Zonal Railways understood Blockchain and Emerging Tech applicability in the Railway industry and discovered several use cases/business problems in the Railway ecosystem.
One of the significant challenges highlighted was the need for unified certificate validation at NAIR. This issue can be addressed by digitizing and issuing NFT-based certificates, which will provide a secure, single sourced and traceable way to manage, track and verify Railway professionals’ key skills and accreditation.
