Pracheen Kala Kendra honored to be host of memorable event SANGEET AMRIT MAHOTSAV where Mohan Veena Maestro Grammy Award Winner Padmabhushan Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt made a comeback to the stage after a long gap of almost 20 months post crucial head surgery. This event was organized at M.L. Koser Indoor Auditorium of Pracheen Kala Kendra as well as online pages of Kendra face book and YouTube official .
The programme begin with special comeback concert of Grammy award winner Padma bhushan Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt ji with his tremendous form and high spirits. Pandit ji started with self composed Ganesh vandana set to raga Bhoopali in 14 beats cycle Deepchandi.
He chose his favourite Raga Shyam kalyan for his concert. The highly expressive Aalap, Jod aalap and Jhala were a testimonial to the infinite creativity of Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt . While this concert he displayed unbelievable transformation and combinations of the Raga. The thrill and joy of unheard Tihais of Pandit ji with Tabla Exponent Himanshu Mahant thrilled the audiences in to another realm.
The next part of the event was studded with sparkling duet of Panditji with his prodigy son & Satvik Veena Player Pt Salil Bhatt . It was a treat for the listeners to imbibe the rich soothing music of Vishwamohan Bhatt alongside the vigorous and blustery music of Salil Bhatt. They also paired with Rajasthani Folk artist Kutla Khan on Khartal to present some rare combination of folk and world music compositions like Baalam ji mhara in Kirwani Dhun along with A meeting by the river, Jog Blues, Vande Matram, National anthem.
