Rather than open the Rock Garden open its books of accounts

I want to bring to your notice that recently Rock Garden Phase III have been once again opened for private functions and marriages for use of public including employees working in Chandigarh.

This regard it is also brought to your knowledge that few years back also Rock Garden Phase iii was thrown open to public and many functions and marriages used to be held after charging of daily rent of rs 50 thousands approx.

After lots of complaints like increase in number of dogs in the area, disturbance to nearby residents and of course lot of filth were received than in 2017, the holding of such functions was stopped by UT administration.

But now surprisingly the decision has been reversed and the residents of UT are at loss to understand why this decision has been taken.

Sir this decision will certainly spoil the entire area around and inside Rock Garden and the best place & famous Tourist place will go from bad to worst.

KINDLY SAVE ROCK GARDEN

I WILL REQUEST CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION TO PLEASE REVIEW THE DECISION TO OPEN ROCK GARDEN PHASE III TO PUBLIC FUNCTIONS AND REVERSE THE DECISION ASAP.

RATHER THAN OPEN THE ROCK GARDEN OPEN ITS BOOKS OF ACCOUNTS TO FIND OUT THE IF THE FOLLOWING IRREGULARITIES ARE TRUE:

The two ticket vending machines started recently has stopped working and again the old system of physical tickets have started.
The workers of Rock Garden are not getting their full wages as per rules
The Books of Rock Garden have never been audited by any Govt appointed Auditor like Local Fund Auditors or Auditor General as such General Financial rules not followed
Till date Rock Garden Society has neither a regular office of staff and it is being looked after by Engineering Deptt. of UT and entire income goes to a private society.
The records of Rock Garden may be verified if they have ever paid any Service Tax or GST on the rent recovered for Phase III portion
The ownership of land of Rock Garden and its parking may also be established
Till date Rock Garden does not have its own Website and its accounts are not displayed for public.
The rental received from Shops inside Rock Garden may also be accounted for and its accounts for receipt for last 5 years at least may be looked into.
