Poonam Sharma inducts into BJP National Executive Mahila Morcha
Poonam Sharma, former Chandigarh mayor and Congress Mahila Morcha president has been appointed as member of BJP National Executive of Mahila Morcha. The approval has been accorded by the President of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) J.P. Nadda. She said that she would work honestly and dedication for the welfare of the people. She also added that she never aspired for a post but she would work hard for the BJP.
In 2019, she gave a major jolt to the Congress has joined the BJP along with senior Congress leader Subash Sharma along with their supporters. The move of Poonam Sharma was a big loss to the Congress as the party had lost a hard, dedicated and fire brand worker.
That time while addressing the gathering, she said her reason to join the BJP was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s style of work. She said she was immensely impressed by the policies and working style of the Prime Minister, which made her leave the Congress and join the BJP.
