In five days, around million of people saw PITEX

Amritsar 06 December : The Punjab International Trade Expo (Pitex), which has been running in the historic city of Amritsar in collaboration with the Punjab government for the last five days, concluded on Monday with indelible memories. This edition of PITEX is themed on tourism to explore the potential in the state. Around lakh people visited here during five days.
This time J&K-handloom stalls remained the center of attraction for the people, while many big companies of the corporate world participated in the fair.
This time Jammu and Kashmir has contributed the most, in PITEX. On Monday, the last day of PITEX, thousands of students from about a dozen schools and colleges in and around Amritsar visited.
R.S. Sachdeva, Chair Punjab state chapter, PHD Chamber of Commerce expressed his gratitude and praised District Deputy Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Khaira, Police Commissioner Sukhchain Singh Gill and the entire district administration and Amritsar Police for their cooperation in the success of this program and said that the programs organized during this exhibition were appreciated by all the states and countries.
He informed that Punjab Government Institutions Markfed, Punjab Tourism, Punjab Agro Industry Corporation, Punjab State Cooperative Milk Federation, PEDA, Amritsar Development Authority, Punjab Small Industry and Export Corporation, Punjab Sahakari Bank, PUNSUP, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, Mandi Board participated.

Apart from this, many departments including Central Government Departments MSME, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, NSIS, National Jute Board ensured their role in PITEX.
During this exhibition, where big industrialists prepared the strategy for the future, lakhs of people bought their daily use items in various pavilions in the ground. He announced that the upcoming event would be organized by the Chamber in March 2022 at Ludhiana, the preparations for which have already been started.
