On 17.03.2018, the Chandigarh Police achieved a major success by arresting the gang of two wheelers cheaters. On receiving secret information, the team of Operations Cell, Sector-26, Chandigarh headed by SI Satinder Kumar under the close supervision of Inspector Narinder Patial, I/C Operations Cell  arrested a gang of cheaters namely 1) Sukhdev Singh  R/o # 881, Sector-48/A, Chandigarh, 2) Surjit Singh R/o # 1334, Deep Complex, Hallomajra, Chandigarh 3) Sanjay @ Ronthalia R/o # 805, Phase-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, 4) Sandeep @ Sonu  R/o Village-Chaundhri near Jangi Kiryana Store, Derabassi, Distt-Mohali and  5) Pardeep Gautam (Salesman)  R/o # 241, Ganesh Vihar, Gulabgarh Road, Derabassi Mohali who cheated the innocent persons with the conspiracy of M/S Bedi Sazuki, Zirakpur, Distt-Mohali (Pb.) and  Sandeep Employee of Capital First Pvt. Ltd. They allured the innocent persons for providing loan from bank to purchase the two wheelers and they obtained relevant documents from them and got sanctioned loans in their names on the basis of fake documents, but they used to tell them that their loan had not been sanctioned due to some objections. They had purchased two wheelers from M/s Bedi Sazuki Zirakpur & Derrabassi Distt-Mohali against the said sanctioned loans and further mortgage/ sold the said two wheelers to other innocent persons by alluring them and taken Rs. 30,000/- to 35,000/- per two wheeler. They had delivered the said two wheelers by pasting T.C Number instead of Temporary Number.

By arresting the said gang, 20 Access-125 Suzuki two wheelers along with fake number plates, mobile phone, Sim card and documents of complainant were recovered from their possession.  In this regard, a case FIR No. 115 dated 17.03.2018 U/S 420,120-B, 467, 468 ,471 and 473 IPC, PS-31 was got registered against them.

During the interrogation of accused Sanjay Kumar, it has also come to light that he used to give said Access Sazuki to the needy students of Ramdarbar on the daily rent basis @ Rs.100/150/- and he also used to supply illegal liquor on said two wheelers.

On 19.03.2018, all the above said accused persons were produced in the Hon’ble Court of Illaqua Magistrate Chandigarh and their remand in the police custody has been obtained up to 24.03-2018. The further investigation of the cases is in progress.
