Maharaja Surajmal Institute organised an E-Summit on 22nd March which provided a unique opportunity for the business leaders and potential entrepreneurs to come together on a common platform.
The Summit also intended to facilitate development of a healthy ecosystem which in turn can boost essential factors like Innovation and New Business Idea, Financing and Sourcing Resources, Marketing and Promotion, Managing Growth and Succession Planning among other.The event was opened by Ms. Sarita Rana, highlighted the need and importance of the youth to pursue entrepreneurship and thanked their honourable President, SMES Shri S.P Singh ji for his immense efforts and endless motivation towards students and faculties.
Ms. Sarita Rana, is amongst few E cell convenors in the country and she has been associated with E cell of various institutions from past 10 years including Jamnalal bajaj inst of management studies from where she did her post graduation. “we focus to make our students as powerhouse of solutions “ she said adding that the start up culture and women entrepreneurship was beginning to be vibrant.
This was followed by Panel discussions on ‘Idea Generation’ and on the theme ‘Riding the Big Wave’ which brought successful entrepreneurs- Mr. Vivek Singh, Dr. Anil Sethi, Dr. Shyam Sundar Aggarwal, Mr.Saurabh Chaturvedi and Dr. Sudhir K. Jain.
These stalwarts shared their stories of struggle and glory with the audience and guided the future entrepreneurs on building business ideas, goals and have a clearer vision of attaining the same.
Gautam Adani, nephew Sagar summoned by US SEC over 2,200 cr-bribery case
Adani Group’s billionaire Chairman Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar have been issued summons over US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) allegation about paying $250 million (over ₹2,200 crore) in bribes. The duo has been asked to respond within 21 days, as per the notice sent via a US court. The summons were sent to their residences in Ahmedabad.

A terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport has been evacuated due to a security threat. “Safety and security of our passengers and staff remains our top priority. We a re working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” an airport spokesperson said. Railway services are also not stopping at Gatwick Airport station untill further notice.
Congress wins all 3 seats in Karnatka by-polls
Congress candidates registered wins on all three seats which went for by-polls in Karnatka. Pathan Yasirahmedkhan won from Shiggaonwith margin of 13,448 votes, defeating BJP’s Bharath Bommai, E Annapoorna won from Sandur with margin of 9,649 votes defeating BJP’s Bangara Hanumantha. CP Yogeeshwara won from Channapatna with margin of 25,413 votes defeating HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
