Haryana Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Kumar has directed the officers to frame rules and regulations under the Persons with Disabilities Act and upload the same on website of the Department by August 15, 2018.
Mr. Krishan Kumar was presiding over meeting with officers of the Department, here today. He said that the District Social Welfare Officers would be Nodal Officers for redressal of complaints pertaining to other departments.
He said that in future, CMO would make proper arrangements for issuance of disability certificate within prescribed time period. For this, the Minister concerned would call the CMOs in District Grievances Redressal Committee meeting and issue necessary directions in this regard. Apart from this, he would send written communication to all Deputy Commissioners.
The Minister said that the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal is sensitive towards the needs of disabled persons and the State Government is committed for the welfare of disabled persons. He said that a written communication has been sent to the Transport Department for allowing free travel facility for persons with 40 per cent disability in Haryana Roadways buses.
He said that six months advance pension would be given to persons with disabilities according to their demand for making necessary changes in their houses according to their needs. Thereafter, the recovery would be made every month in the form of Rs 200 or Rs 300 every month from their pension. This is a kind of financial assistance for persons with disabilities for which the Finance Department has been requested. Efforts are being made so that persons with disabilities could also get the benefit of four per cent as prescribed under the outsourcing policy.
The Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Mrs. Neerja Shekhar apprised the Minister that being the nodal department a written communication has been sent to all departments to send requisition of posts reserved for persons with disabilities in their departments to the Haryana Public Service Commission and Haryana Staff Selection Commission so that backlog of such posts could be filled up under special recruitment campaign. So far information of about 800 vacant posts has been received. She said that a state level workshop would be organised on July 6 at 11 a.m. She said that the Health Department has been requested to provide facility of e-Appointment to persons with disabilities on the pattern of e-Upchar to issue disability certificate.

 Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr O.P Dhankar assured the sunflower growers of the state that uninterrupted purchase of sunflower crop would be made which will be over and above the purchase limit of 40 per cent as fixed by Government of India.
Mr Dhankar was interacting with the sunflower growers of district Kurukshetra who called on him here today. Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi was also present on this occasion.
Mr Dhankar directed the Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, Dr Abhilaksh Likhi to write a letter to the Union Ministry for increasing the purchase period of sunflower and also to enhance the prescribed quote of 40 per cent.
Mr Bedi thanked the Agriculture Minister for this initiative.
Among those present on this occasion included Sarpanch of village Nalvi Mr Baldev Singh Kamboj, Sarpanch Ram Nagar Mr Bal Singh and large number of farmers.

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani would conduct the compartment, partial improvement, additional subject and mercy chance examinations of secondary and senior secondary all together on July 14, 2018. The date sheet of examinations has been uploaded on the website of the Board www.bseh.org.in.
This was disclosed by Chairman of the Board, Dr. Jagbir Singh during a press conference held at Bhiwani today.
He said that it has been decided to conduct supplementary examination of all subjects of secondary and senior secondary on a single day. Keeping in view the interests of the students, the supplementary examinations would be held on July 14.
Dr. Singh said that the candidates who had obtained compartment in one subject in examinations held in March 2018 and those candidates who had appeared in compartment examination in March 2018 and those who have availed both chances of examination, but their result is shown Not Qualified/Participated, and those students who had not applied for compartment examination in July 2017 and March 2018 due to any reason, a mercy chance is being given to such students to appear in compartment examination in July 2018. Apart from this, those students who passed annual examination of March 2018, they can only appear in examination of one subject, that is, partial improvement or additional subject.
He said that the supplementary examination of secondary and senior secondary would be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Chandigarh, June 14- Haryana Government has notified the “Power Tariff Subsidy Scheme” to provide affordable power supply to the Micro and Small Enterprises in the state. Under this scheme, Micro and Small Enterprises in ‘C’ and ‘D’ Category blocks would be provided power tariff subsidy of Rs two per unit for 3 years from the date of release of power connection.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Industries and Commerce Department said that the scheme would commence with effect from August 15,2015 for providing power tariff subsidy and would remain in operation for a period of 5 years.
He said that such units to whom electricity power connection have been released on or after notification of Enterprises Promotion Policy, 2015 that is August 15,2015 and upto August 14,2020 would be eligible for power tariff subsidy. He said that the Micro and Small Enterprises established in the ‘C’ and ‘D’ Category blocks, which have filed Udyog Aadhar Memorandum (UAM) with respective district industries centre that is on portal https://udyogaadhaar.gov.in would be eligible under the scheme.
While referring to the eligibility condition of the scheme, the spokesman said that the enterprise should not have been placed in the restrictive list as notified by the State government from time to time. Apart from this, the enterprise should be in regular production at the time of release of subsidy and the same would not be released to a closed unit. The electric power connection should have been released on or after August 15,2015 and upto August 14,2020.
He said that application on prescribed form for the grant of power tariff subsidy along with requisite documents would be submitted to the Director of Industries and Commerce, on the web portal of the department. The application would be processed and examined and deficiencies, if any, would be communicated to the applicant in writing within a period of 10 working days. The applicant would be given a time period of two weeks to rectify the deficiencies so pointed out, he added.
He said that in case the deficiencies are not removed within prescribed period, the claim may be filed by the Competent Authority, under intimation to the party through portal. The enterprise would not be required to submit any additional document other than specified without approval of competent authority. He said that the claim application so filed may be reopened with the orders of Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, provided request for the same is received within a period of 30 days from the date of rejection of the claim by the designated Competent Authority.
The spokesman said that the sanctioned amount would be directly credited in the bank account of applicant through State Government Treasury. The applicant would submit the affidavit and pre-receipt before releasing the subsidy amount, he said adding that Director, Industries and Commerce would be competent authority for sanction of Power Tariff Subsidy.
He said that the applicant would submit claim application within 6 months from the date of issuance of notification of this scheme for taking the re-imbursement for the period that is August 15,2015 to the date of notification of this scheme. However, the applicant would submit subsequent claims of each quarter within 6 monthsafter closing of quarter of the Financial Year. Otherwise the applicant would forfeit the entitlement for the power tariff subsidy.
He said that appeal against orders passed by the Competent Authority would lie with the Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of orders appealed against. The order passed by the Administrative Secretary in appeal would be final. He said that in case, it is found at any stage that the applicant has claimed the Power Tariff Subsidy on the basis of any false information, the applicant would besides refunding the subsidy amount with compound rate of interest at the rate of 12 per cent per annum and facing legal action, would be debarred from grant of any incentives or assistance from the State Government.

Chandigarh, June 14- Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has accorded administrative approval amounting to over Rs 24.65 crore for the widening and strengthening of different roads in the state.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department said that an amount of over Rs 12.61 crore has been approved for strengthening of Karnal-Assandh-Jind-Hansi-Tosham-Behal Sodhiwas road in Charkhi Dadri district.
He said that while an amount of over Rs 5.47 crore has been approved for widening and raising of link road from Sadhaura Kotla road to Sadhaura Kala Amb road in Yamunanagar district, over Rs 3.90 crore has been approved for widening and strengthening of road from Dabarki to Dhakwala in district Karnal and over Rs 2.67 crore for strengthening of road from Jhumpa Kalan Behal Kairu to Behal Lohani in district Charkhi Dadri.
