Khalsa College celebrates International Women’s Day
Principal felicitates women involved in social and welfare work
International Women’s Day was celebrated in Khalsa College (Amritsar) Technology and Business Studies at Phase 3A. On this occasion, while college students participated in an interesting competitions like poster making, collage making and rangoli based on the topic of women empowerment, on the other hand, the women, who were involved in social and welfare works in the city, were felicitated by the Principal of the college Dr. Harish Kumari.
These included DSP of Punjab Police (NRI Wing, HQ), Deepinder Kaur; DSP 82 Battalion, Chandigarh Mandeep Kaur; Director of Punjab Health and Family Welfare, Avneet Kaur; Generation Saviour Association, President Opinderpreet Kaur and Vice President Surjit Kaur; Mohali’s District Employment Officer Harpreet Kaur; Anita Sabeesh of Suchetak School of Acting and Dr. Monica Mittal of Skin and Laser Clinic who were felicitated with shawls and souvenirs.
