Journalists felicitated by Simmi Marwaha Memorial Trust
(ChandigarhCityNews) Simmi Marwaha Memorial Charitable Trust today organised its 14th Young Journalists Felicitation Day at Chandigarh Press Club here. Those honoured on the occasion were journalists, photo journalists and topper students of PU Mass Communication Department.
In the print and Electronic media among those who were felicitated included Devkanya Thakur, Ravindermeet, Santanshu and Panjab University topper Anuradha Sharma. They were felicitated Rajinder Rosy, Managing Trustee of the Trust.
It may be recalled Simmi Marwaha was a journalist herself and 14 years ago on March 22 in 2003 had lost her life in a road accident when she was just 24 years old. Every year on April 3 a felicitation function is kept on her birthday.
