ITDC Concludes Joint Seminar on the Importance of Indian Vedic Culture at The Ashok, New Delhi

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India organized a seminar and ceremony on The Importance of Indian Vedic Culture at The Ashok, New Delhi. The event witnessed the participation of 53 PSUs, underscoring a collective commitment to promoting Hindi and preserving India’s cultural heritage.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Director, (Finance), and senior officials of ITDC, followed by addresses by distinguished speakers, reflecting on the relevance of Vedic culture in modern times. It emphasized the role of Vedic knowledge in shaping social values and its enduring significance.

The highlight of the seminar was Hindi Kavi Sammelan (poetry session), captivating and humorous recitations.

The seminar concluded with an inspiring address by Member Secretary, Narakas Upakram-2, who underscored the importance of integrating Hindi and regional languages in official communication. He shared his personal experiences and urged the participating PSUs to enhance the use of Hindi in their daily operations.

The event was a resounding success, reflecting ITDC’s dedication to preserving India’s cultural heritage while advancing the use of Hindi in official and public discourse.
