India’s largest International Quiz Contest launched: Jointly hosted by Ideas That Matter, Shoolini’s outreach team and Faculty of Management Sciences and Liberal Arts (FMSLA), Q?riosity 2021 was launched through a Grand Virtual Inauguration ceremony on Wednesday.
Over 500 schools with more than 35,000 students across the globe are participating in Q?riosity 2021, making it the largest international quiz competition for school students.
The inaugural programme began with an address by Ms. Avnee Khosla, Trustee and Vice President, Shoolini University who welcomed all schools and students to be a part of this one month long quiz journey. This was followed by lighting of the lamp by Professor Dr. Prem Kumar Khosla, Founder and Chancellor of Shoolini University, Mrs. Saroj Khosla, President Shoolini University and Prof. Atul Khosla, Vice Chancellor, Shoolini University.
Prof PK Khosla, wishing good luck to team Ideas that Matter and FMSLA team said, “It’s my pleasure to be with you this moment at the 11th year of organizing Q?riosity which has its strong foundation and academic values.
Welcoming students, parents and educators, Prof Atul Khosla said, “I can understand how exciting quizzing can be and has the potential to change your life. Q?riosity this year has some exciting technology platform, a lot of new things in addition to the grand prizes and above all questions that will tickle your imagination and those gray cells. I welcome each one to this roller coaster ride.”

Following the official inauguration, Dr. Kuldeep Rojhe, Professor of Management Sciences and Liberal Arts and Head of the MBA Department at Shoolini University, spoke elaborately on the decade long journey of the quiz emphasising on the new and technological changes that are made this year for adapting to pandemic times and thereby making the quiz accessible to all students interested in quizzing.
Closing the inaugural ceremony, Ms. Shikha Sood, Head of Outreach said, “there are also some amazing gifts after you finish the quiz but that surprise is for you once you complete. Thank you everybody for joining us.”

Adani Group’s billionaire Chairman Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar have been issued summons over US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) allegation about paying $250 million (over ₹2,200 crore) in bribes. The duo has been asked to respond within 21 days, as per the notice sent via a US court. The summons were sent to their residences in Ahmedabad.

A terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport has been evacuated due to a security threat. “Safety and security of our passengers and staff remains our top priority. Congress wins all 3 seats in Karnatka by-polls
Congress candidates registered wins on all three seats which went for by-polls in Karnatka. Pathan Yasirahmedkhan won from Shiggaonwith margin of 13,448 votes, defeating BJP’s Bharath Bommai, E Annapoorna won from Sandur with margin of 9,649 votes defeating BJP’s Bangara Hanumantha. CP Yogeeshwara won from Channapatna with margin of 25,413 votes defeating HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
