India needs to increase exports to strengthen business from abroad

Amritsar. In the present situation, it is necessary that India should be made self-reliant in the field of exports. For this, the industries will have to prepare alternatives.
Suvidh Shah, Joint Director, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, ITS, was addressing the Exporter Conclave: 2021: Export Vision Punjab, organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Government of Punjab, at the 15th PITEX.
He said that no license is required for export. There is no custom duty for this. Work is going on on many schemes to make India self-reliant. Industrialists should prepare an alternative for this, so that India’s dependence on other countries can be reduced. He said that Ludhiana is the hub of machine tool production. If this sector is promoted, India’s dependence on foreign countries can be reduced.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishwa Bandhu, Deputy Director, Policy Implementation Unit, Punjab Industries Department said that special efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of the schemes of the Punjab Government reach as many people as possible.
Speaking on the occasion, PK Bhardwaj, General Manager, NABARD, while providing information about the ongoing schemes in Punjab said that industrialists can play an important role in strengthening the economy of Punjab.

On this occasion, PHD Chamber of Commerce Punjab Chapter Chair RS Sachdeva, NABARD Assistant General Manager Arpita Bhattacharjee, Punjab National Bank Assistant General Manager Rajeev Kumar, Senior Manager Animesh Gupta, HDFC Bank Vice Chairman Dinesh Sekhri and many other dignitaries expressed their views.
