Hessen International University of Germany has conferred the honorary degree of D.Litt on Dr. Vinod Kumar. This degree was conferred on him during the 8th edition of India Intellectual Conclave-2024 held at Holiday Inn International Aero City, New Delhi.
He received this degree from the hands of Brahmachari (Dr.) Girish Chandra Verma, Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, Madhya Pradesh, who was present as the chief guest. Senior Technical Director (Retd.), National Informatics Centre, Pramod Rajput, Delhi Police, Presidential Medal in Policing recipient SI Kiran Sethi, Group Director of TNP GNIOT NAAC A+ Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of Global Trade and Technology Council of India Lions Club Delhi, President of New Delhi Bar Association, Advocate Jagdeep Vats, Dr. P.K., Former Senior Vice President of Cadila Pharmaceutical Limited Rajput, Environment and Consumer Protection Foundation Executive Chairman Dr. Rakesh Chandra Agarwal, Army Veteran Major Mohammad Ali Shah, Dr. (Colonel) Gunjan Malhotra Sareen, Army Veteran, Motivational Speaker Lieutenant Colonel Himanshi Singh, Academic Scholar, Iran Dr. Mehran Lahooti, International Academician, Georgia, Dr. Deepika Joshi, Abhishek Pandey, Kamal Wadhawan and Manish Gupta were also present. The program started with the lighting of the lamp.
The hon’ble guests were welcomed. After the speech of the guests, the citation was read and oath was given. Thereafter, the honorary degree was awarded. Dr. Vinod Kumar said that the Honorary Degree Committee used specific criteria when considering candidates. The University generally gives preference to honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions in their field. Whose exceptional achievements have promoted cultural and social work and have achieved international standards of excellence. Dr. Vinod Kumar has been awarded this honorary degree of D.Litt for his outstanding contribution in the field of Hindi language.
