Chief Minister congratulates and wishes people on occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today participated as the chief guest in the Pran Pratishtha and Unveiling Programme of 31-feet high Panchmukhi Hanuman Ji at SRM College Campus, village Bhurewala, in Ambala district on the occasion of Shri Hanuman Janmotsav. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated and wished everyone on Hanuman Janmotsav and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.

He said today is a day of pride and glory for all of us. We all know that Hanuman Ji selflessly served Lord Shri Ram as a servant. When Laxman fell unconscious during the battle between Laxman and Meghnath, at that time Hanuman Ji brought Sanjivani booti and gave him life.

He said for years, there was a legal dispute going on in Ayodhya regarding Ram Janmabhoomi, which was resolved through legal process and under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, a grand and divine temple of Lord Shri Ram was built in Ayodhya, which is a matter of pride and glory for all of us. He said religion and politics are synonymous with each other. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, religious places are being renovated while preserving our ancient culture and heritage.

The Chief Minister said in the last 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the government has worked to restore our ancient culture and heritage which is disappearing. The corridor of Lord Kashi Vishwanath, Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor in Ujjain, crores of people taking a holy dip in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, renovation of Shri Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand and opening of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in Pakistan are prominent. Similarly, the Haryana Government has also renovated many pilgrimage sites on the holy land of Kurukshetra, where Lord Shri Krishna gave the message of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

He said the present government is continuously working in accordance with the vision of great men and following the path shown by them, keeping in mind the welfare of the poor. Under the Ayushman Card Scheme, the needy people have been provided the facility of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. In Haryana also, under the Ayushman/Chirayu Card Scheme, about 20 lakh people have been given the benefit and an amount of Rs 2200 crore has been spent under the scheme.

He said under the leadership of the Prime Minister, work has been done to provide housing facilities to 4 crore people in the country. At the same time, in Haryana also, work is being done to identify the needy persons and provide housing facilities as per the scheme.

The Chief Minister said on the occasion of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, the Prime Minister is coming to Hisar and Yamunanagar on April 14 and he will give a big gift to Haryana on this occasion. These include the launch of air services from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar and laying the foundation stone of the 800 MW super critical unit in Yamunanagar. He invited everyone to attend the Prime Minister’s visit to Haryana and called upon them to reach in maximum numbers.

He said the Prime Minister has a vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, and we have to contribute to that vision by developing Haryana.

The Chief Minister also visited the Namo Ayurveda Hospital and Wellness Centre built in the college. The Chief Minister honoured sculptor Sant Kumar, who made the statue of Shri Hanuman ji, by giving him a memento.

During the programme, the organizer and world famous bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal also congratulated everyone on Hanuman Janmotsav. Former Assembly Speaker Sh. Gian Chand Gupta and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The land of Haryana is set to witness a historic moment on April 14 when the Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi visits the state to usher in a new era of development. On this occasion, the foundation stone will be laid and inauguration of many important projects will be held in Yamunanagar and Hisar which will be a significant stride toward the vision of a self-reliant India and a prosperous Haryana. These projects will not only strengthen the state’s infrastructure but also open new avenues of employment for the youth.

Grand start of 800 MW Thermal Power Plant in Yamunanagar

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for 800 MW modern thermal power unit of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) in Yamunanagar. This third unit, spread across 233 acres, involves an investment of Rs 8,469 crore. Scheduled to be completed within 52 months, the project is expected to commence commercial operations by March 2029. Once operational, it will significantly boost Haryana’s energy self-sufficiency and ensure uninterrupted power supply for industries across the state.

Compressed Biogas Plant Yamunanagar

Driven by the Prime Minister’s visionary ‘Gobardhan Mission’, Haryana continues to make strides in cleanliness, sustainability, and energy self-reliance. In line with this mission, the foundation stone of a Compressed Biogas Plant will be laid in Mukarbpur, within the Yamunanagar-Jagadhari Municipal Corporation area. Developed in collaboration with BPCL at a cost of  Rs 90 crore, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 2,600 metric tonnes and is slated for completion by 2027. This initiative will help in effective organic waste management while contributing to clean energy production and environmental conservation.

Hisar Airport to Strengthen Regional Connectivity

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate air services from Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar. In a moment of pride, he will flag off the first flight to Ayodhya. With scheduled flights from Hisar to Ayodhya (twice weekly), three flights in a week to Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh, this development marks a significant leap in Haryana’s aviation connectivity. Additionally, the foundation stone for Phase II of the airport will be laid on the same day. This Rs 413 crore phase, targeted for completion by April 17, 2027, will include a state-of-the-art passenger terminal (37,790 sq. meters), a cargo terminal (2,235 sq. meters), and an ATC building, transforming Hisar into a major hub for trade and transport.

Rewari Bypass: Smoother Travel and Economic Boost

The successful implementation of Rewari Bypass project has been completed as an important link of concrete steps being taken by the state government to ensure the all-round development of the state and modern transport system. Spanning 14.4 km and built at a cost of Rs 1,069.42 crore under the Bharatmala Pariyojana via hybrid annuity mode, the bypass is now fully operational. It will decongest Rewari city, reduce Delhi–Narnaul travel time by one hour, and boost economic and social activity in the region. This is yet another milestone in the country’s rapidly evolving infrastructure under the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership.

Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs, Sh. Manohar Lal participated as chief guest in an award ceremony at Geeta University, Naultha in Panipat district on Saturday. Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar also attended the event as guest of honour.

While addressing students who excelled in various disciplines, Sh. Manohar Lal said that education not only gives knowledge and values but also plays an important role in helping people improve their lives and get employment. He said a truly educated person must carry good values that help society move forward. He further congratulated parents for their children’s achievement and motivated students to work with determination and set goals to achieve their target.

Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said the state government is committed to the development of Haryana. Wherever there is potential for progress, the government is working with dedication to take the state forward. By 2047, India will be recognized as a developed country. Under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the country is achieving new milestones in development, he added.

He further said that the state government is working to improve basic facilities in rural areas. All village phirnis will be paved, proper street lighting will be installed, and e-libraries are being set up in villages. Vyayamshalas will also be built in village Chhatarpur. Cremation grounds will be constructed outside every village, and roads leading to them will be paved. Electricity and water facilities will also be ensured there. Besides this, the government is working on beautifying all ponds in Haryana.

Haryana Governor Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state, Punjab and the global Punjabi diaspora on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.

In his message, Sh. Dattatraya said, “Baishakhi marks the beginning of the harvest season and holds special significance as a festival of gratitude, joy, and community spirit. It also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a momentous event in Sikh history that continues to inspire courage, equality, and service.”

The Governor further said that festivals like Baishakhi reflect the vibrant cultural heritage and unity of our people. He expressed confidence that the festival would strengthen the bonds of harmony, peace, and brotherhood among all communities.

Sh. Dattatraya also conveyed his best wishes to farmers, saying that Baishakhi is a celebration of their hard work and dedication. Wishing prosperity, happiness, and good health to all, Governor Sh. Dattatraya urged everyone to uphold the values of compassion, inclusiveness, and mutual respect, which are at the heart of India’s composite culture.

Cyclothon created a wave against drug abuse in Haryana – Rao Narbir Singh 

Cyclothon 2.0, carrying Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini’s message of a Drug-Free Haryana, continues its journey across the state. On Saturday, the Cyclothon 2.0 passed through major roads of Gurugram. Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh flagged off the Cyclothon from Ghamroj Toll Plaza, for Jhajjar district. The drug-free Haryana campaign received huge public support in Gurugram. Minister Rao Narbir Singh also rode a bicycle himself to motivate the youth to participate in building a drug-free Haryana.

While addressing the people of the district, Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that this campaign has created a wave against drug abuse in the state, with Gurugram playing an important role in it. To help India become a global leader, the youth must stand against drug abuse. During the programme, he also administered a pledge to all youth and attendees to stand united against drug addiction and to actively contribute to building a drug-free Haryana.
