Haryana athletes making India proud globally: Chief Minister

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that it is a matter of pride for Haryana that its athletes have made India proud globally. As a result of the present state government’s sports policy, two athletes from Haryana won medals at the Paris Olympics, making a mark on the world stage. He congratulated and wished them well.

        Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was today interacting with the journalists at New Delhi Railway Station after travelling by train from Chandigarh to Delhi. He said that our brave athletes have excelled and brought honour to Haryana.

        Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that since 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, programmes like ‘Khelo India’ have been organised, yielding positive results. Our athletes are performing well in international competitions, bringing honour to the state and the country.The government is working hard to prepare these young athletes and provide them with a platform, the Chief Minister added.

        Responding to a question about the upcoming assembly elections, the Chief Minister said that under Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government in Haryana for the third time with a large majority. He stated that people in Haryana tend to vote for the same party that is in power at the centre. Therefore, under Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP will form a stable and developmental government in Haryana that will meet people’s expectations.

        He said that by forming the government for the third time, they will continue to advance the development pace in Haryana. Therefore, they are holding constructive meetings and continuously engaging with people.
