Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij has said that granting 4% reservation to Muslims in government works in Karnataka is unjustified because Muslims ruled over us for 400 years. He condemned this move, saying that Congress is once again trying to divide the country.
Vij made this statement while responding to media persons queries regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks on caste-based census.

He reiterated that Muslims ruled over India for 400 years, and questioned why they need any special privileges. He accused Congress of deliberately dividing society, comparing it to curd being mixed in milk to make it curdle. He said this is typical of Congress’ character.

Vij alleged that Congress was responsible for the partition of India in 1947, stating that while they divided the land, they kept the people. He warned that Congress is once again plotting to divide the nation, calling their actions highly condemnable and urging every patriot to denounce them.

Responding to a question about Congress failing to form an organization or appoint a Leader of Opposition even after 5.5 months since the assembly elections, Vij took a jibe, saying Congress’ leadership is completely incapable of functioning and that their minds are empty. He remarked that if Congress had somehow won, they would have taken 5.5 months just to decide on a Chief Minister, making governance impossible

Vij criticized Congress, stating that people already knew about their inefficiency, which is why they were not elected. He sarcastically remarked that Congress failed to fulfill its responsibilities while in power, and now in opposition, they are still failing.
Vij’s jibe at Kejriwal – “jahaan-jahaan paanv pade santan ke vahaan vahaan bantaadhaar hai”
On AAP’s increasing political presence in Punjab, Vij took a swipe at Arvind Kejriwal, saying that no matter what AAP does in Punjab, Kejriwal’s track record suggests ruin follows him. He remarked that first, he destroyed Delhi, and now he is set to do the same in Punjab.
