Garry Miller & Elle Freestone of University of Auckland Visited CGC Jhanjeri & gave valuable information to students

organized a seminar at its campus. Key note speaker at the moment was Garry Miller, Associate Dean and Elle Freestone, International Manager of Auckland University, New Zealand. Associate Dean Garry Miller gave information about education System of News Zealand. He also gave detailed information about placement opportunities for students in New Zealand, Associate Dean Elle informed at the moment that Faculty of Engineering’s strong ties with industry provide students with unique opportunities such as guest lectures, networking events, job fairs, industry events & much more. She added that career options are extensive in New Zealand. The students are equipped to work in industry or research. According to her Graduates are employed for technical, regulatory, management & product development roles.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that the students of CGC are given enough options for availing placement opportunities in India as well as abroad. Dr. G.D.Bansal, Director General said that CGC runs a Department of International Affairs which explores various avenues for carrying out higher studies abroad. The interested students are provided all the necessary information & assistance to facilitate their admissions in leading foreign universities. According to him a number of students are already pursuing different PG courses in different Universities of the world.
