Four persons arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-19 & PS-Maloya, Chandigarh against four persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 02.04.2018. All accused later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.
Cheating
Sh. Kamodh Kumar R/o # 17, Village-Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh alleged that two unknown persons cheated away Rs. 35,000/- from complainant near ICICI Bank, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 03.04.2018. A case FIR No. 139, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Mr. Firoz Khan R/o # 2690, Sector-52, Chandigarh alleged that two unknown persons cheated away Rs. 40,000/- from complainant near Central Bank of India, SCO No. 371, Sector-32, Chandigarh on 03.04.2018. A case FIR No. 129, U/S 420, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Theft
Mr. Dildar R/o # 1516, Sector-36, Chandigarh reported that unknown persons stolen away two bicycles from near H.No. 3119, Sector 32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Sh. Deepak R/o # 1210/5, Gali No. 1, Shora Kothi, Kaithal (HR) reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s splendor M/Cycle No. HR08N9317 from parking near IBS Institute, Sector-34, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 130, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Sh. Mohinder Lal R/o # 2411/C Block No. 42, Sector-63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01AT3903 from parking near his residence. A case FIR No. 57, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
