‘Explorers Fest’- Around the World in 5 days at Banyan Tree School
The pre-primary wing of Banyan Tree School, Chandigarh celebrated ‘Explorers Fest’- Around the World.
The event was planned to take the children on a virtual journey around the world, where they visited a new continent each day. The aim of the activity was to understand that each country has something different to share: culture, dance, crafts, culinary activities, and music too!
Over the week, children became aware of the similarities and differences between themselves and people of other countries. They understood that all people deserve to be treated with respect.
The facilitators narrated folk tales from the countries of the continent they were visiting and to keep them completely engaged even engrossed them in craft activities from that part of the World.
Children did research on their end where they not only wore the costumes of the people from the countries they visited but also presented facts about the continents very confidently.

It was a great learning experience for both, facilitators and the students.
The parents were extremely appreciative and contributed in their own way.
