City based educationinst, Dr Sushil Gupta (MSc, MEd, PhD) with 41 years of teaching experience and huge contribution in the field of Bio Sciences research and teaching has brought laurels to the tricity by winning the coveted IAA Award, accorded by the International Accrediting Authority, USA. Dr Gupta, a resident of Sector 49, Chandigarh, was given the award at a grand ceremony held recently in New Delhi. She did her doctorate in Zoology from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1991.
Dr Sushil Gupta said, “I am happy to receive this recognition for my hard work and sincere services given to the nation in the form of educating the youth, bringing out their best through teaching and guidance. I am grateful to my students, my family and almighty for this achievement.”
The award has been given for her outstanding contribution to research in bio sciences in the region of Punjab. Earlier, she was invited to present her research works at the prestigious Harvard University USA and also the Oxford University, UK in 2016. Last year, she was invited by University of Freiburg, Germany as a Research Ambassador and an international guide.
Dr Gupta has written 37 International and 23 national level research papers to her credit. Under her guidance, over 5000 graduates, post graduates and research scholars have achieved their education and degrees. She has also been awarded with State Awards in 2012 and 2013, in recognition for her contributions to the field of education and social service respectively.
