64th national Games Included
CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION
64th NSG concluded on a successfully note at Sports Complex, Govt. Model High School Sector-43, today. The 4-day meet was declared closed by Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Director School Education, Chandigarh Administration, the Chief Guest at the ‘Closing Ceremony’.
The National School Games organized by the Education Department under the organizing Secretary Mrs Anujit Kaur, DEO, UT Chandigarh, was held in the discipline of Squash Under 14, 17 and 19 Boys and Girls. Around 12 states and UT’s of India were in the city from 26th to 29 September 2018. 4 day National School Games Squash held under the aegis of the School Games of Federation of India. Sh. K S Murti was present as Observer of SGFI.
All participants marched past as a good will gesture towards the host city. Overall trophies and prizes were given to the winners by Director School Education, who congratulated the organizers and the key departments for their round the clock services to the teams. The 4 day event concluded with Fencing Show presentation by the students of GMSSS Sector-10 and release of a farewell kite and the retreat ceremony of the SGFI Flag.
Closing ceremony Function was attended by Mrs Saroj Mittal, DDSE and Other Officers of Education Department.
