As all of us know the case of Ram Mandir has been continued since a long time.
The Ayodhya dispute is a political, historical debate in India.
The issue revolve around the control of a site traditionally regarded among Hindus to be the birthplace of the Hindu deity Rama the history and location of the Babri Masjid .
The Babri Masjid was destroyed during the public rally which turned into a revolt on 6 December 1992.
A case was filled in Allahabad High court, the verdict of which was announced on 30 September 2010.
In the judgement three judges rules that 2.77 acres of ayodhya would be divided into 3 parts out of which 1/3 would be given to ram lalla and 1/3 to zunni waqf board and 1/3 to nirmohi akhara but this did not match with the Islams.
So finally came the day everyone was waiting for it is 9 November 2019 when five judges of the supreme court ordered that the land would be given to a trust to build Ram Temple.

It also ordered the govt. to grant 5 acres of land of ayodhya to the Islams so that they can build a mosque.
This was the most difficult decision in the history of supreme court.
