CII Northern Region States have formed Action Task Force at the State-level to work closely with government
Confederation of Indian Industry Northern Region has taken proactive measures to ensure that Industry is able to adapt to the emerging conditions with minimal impact on businesses, employees and all stakeholders. CII is engaged with the Governments at the Central and State levels and has submitted representations to ensure that the adverse implications of this lockdown are minimised on the industry and workforce.
All Northern Region States have formed Covid-19 Action Task Force at the state level to work closely with the government at the state level & connect with industry and put in place an effective mechanism to address / resolve industry issues on the ground.
The objective of setting up this Task Force is to represent industry issues to the Government in context of mitigating the impact of the outbreak. The Task Force is giving special attention and working to expedite the matters related to Relief and Rehabilitation & COVID Fund. It is also mapping the needs of hospitals and motivating the industry members to increase their capacities of manufacturing PPE Kits, Ventilators, etc.
