CII Building awarded 2nd Rank in Swachh Survekshan 2021 amongst office buildings in Chandigarh

CII Building awarded 2nd Rank in Swachh Survekshan 2021 amongst office buildings in Chandigarh:- CII Northern Region Headquarters was adjudged 2nd Rank in Swachh Survekshan 2021 amongst office buildings in Chandigarh. The 26 year old building was constructed in 1995 as part of CII centenary celebrations. CII Northern Region Headquarters building is certified as Green Building by Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). The certificate was handed over to Mr Manish Gupta, Vice Chairman, CII Chandigarh UT by Mr Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh and Mr K K Yadav, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh in a ceremony.

Commenting on the achievement, Mr Nikhil Sawhney, Chairman, CII Northern Region said that credit for this goes to swachhta warriors of the building. They have been working round the year to ensure building is clean and green. CII-NR HQ is also one of the green buildings certified by IGBC in Chandigarh, he added.
