Chandigarh’s Munishwar Sharma appointed National Secretary, NSUI
Munishwar Sharma, hailing from Chandigarh, has been appointed as the National Secretary of NSUI, the prominent student wing affiliated with the Indian National Congress, in acknowledgment of his diligent leadership within the youth community.
The announcement of his appointment was made by KC Venugopal, the General Secretary of AICC. With a background in engineering from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Munishwar Sharma previously served as the National Coordinator.

His significant contributions, notably in the success of the PUCSC elections, were highlighted. Munishwar Sharma expressed his gratitude to Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and AICC General Secretary Venu Gopal Rai for their support.
He also gave special thanks to Varun Chaudhary, the newly elected NSUI National President, and Kanhaiya Kumar, NSUI Incharge. Prior to his current role, Munishwar Sharma held positions as the national NSUI coordinator and Co-incharge of Himachal Pradesh NSUI.
