Chandigarh to witness SBI Green Marathon’s 3rd edition on March 8
Highlights of the event:
- The bank is all set to organise the event on March 8 at Chandigarh Club
- More than 3500 participants to run the SBI Green Marathon
- Shri V P Singh Badnore, Governor, Punjab, Shri Manoj Kumar Parida, Advisor, UT Chandigarh and Siddharth Kaul, Indian cricketer will grace the event
- Shri Dinesh Khara, MD (GB&S), SBI and Shri Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, CGM, Chandigarh Circle to flag off the event
- Bibs of 5kms runners will consist of seeds for tree plantation post marathon
- Runners’ T-Shirt is made from 100% recycled material
To celebrate the passion for environmental sustainability and better living for our future generations, State Bank of India is back with its 3rd edition of SBI Green Marathon. The bank’s annual flagship event is to be witnessed by Chandigarh on March 8, 2020. The bank is organizing a 5Km, 10Km and 21Km run at the Chandigarh Club from 5:00 AM onwards. Chandigarh residents who are interested in participating in the marathon can go for the on-the-spot registration on Saturday, March 7 at Expo centre – The Aroma hotel in Himalaya Marg.
