Chandigarh police achieved a major success by arresting the notorious accused involved in property crime i.e. vehicle theft with in 24 hours after the registration of case. On 22.07.2018 Case FIR no 296 dated 22/07/2018 u/s 379 IPC was registered regarding theft of Access Scooter no. CH01- AH 4110 from in front of H no- 2551/1 Sec-38C Chandigarh in the intervening night 21/22.07.2018.
Working on the secret information, a team of police station Sector- 39, led by ASI Parminder Singh laid a Naka near turn of Krishna Market, Sector- 41, Chandigarh and apprehended two accused persons namely Sachin @ Tarzan S/o Rakesh Kumar r/o 2265 Sector 40 and Didar Singh S/o Late Kirpal Singh resident of 2091 Sec 40 and stolen Access Scooter no. CH01- AH 4110 has been recovered from their possession. During interrogation of accused three more two wheelers has been recovered and one more M V theft case FIR No- 159 dated 13/4/2018 u/s 379 IPC of PS 39 registered regarding theft of Activa No- CH04J-6423 has been solved and two Hero Motor cycles No- CH49T-9011 & PB11BE-4791 recovered from the possession of accused has been taken into police possession U/S 102 CrPC which has been stolen from Mohali Punjab area.
Accused Sachin @ Tarzan has just came out on bail 9th of July and he was arrested by the team of Police Station 39 in case FIR No- 211 dated 16.05.18 U/S- 379 IPC added 411 IPC of car theft of PS-39 only. We had added section 413 IPC in that case but court has allowed his bail after one month. Accused Sachin @ Tarzan is involved in more than 10 cases of MV theft, Snatching as well as other crime. Accused Didar Singh is also involved in other theft & kidnapping cases.
