Chandigarh CA (Chartered Accountants) Cycling Association formed
Chartered Accountants in Chandigarh have formed Chandigarh CA Cycling Association with CA Amitoz Singh as the President, CA Mastaan Singh as VP and CA Keshav R Garg as the secretary of the association. The aim of the association is to promote fitness amongst the professional community especially Chartered Accountants.
The association completed its first ride today and covered about 60 kms within a span of 3 hours at 20 kms /per hour. The Association carries out morning rides on every Wednesday and Sunday. Wednesday being short ride which Sunday’s are reserved for long rides. Only professionals can become part of this association which looks forward to organizing many fitness programs. The need has been felt due to sitting jobs and lifestyle disease. The president felt that most of professionals are going through lifestyle disease heaving least physical exercise in their routine. This has led to various diseases such as high blood pressure, cholesterol etc. along with depletion of stamina to carry out any physical activity.
