CBSE Workshop held at St. Soldier Mohali
St. Soldier International Convent School, Phase 7, Mohali organised CBSE Workshop at its campus. 60 teachers from various schools of Mohali and its adjoining areas participated in various activities to learn how to enhance the students improve upon their skills in Team Work. Various agendas like Problem solving, Empathy, Creativity, Self Expression, Negotiation, Communication, Goal Setting, Self Confidence, Self Reliance, Following Rules and Social Interaction were deliberated at the moment.Key note speaker at the moment was Inderjit Sandhu ,Principal Sant IsherSingh Mohali and K.K.Sharma Rtd. Lecturer(English) D.A.V. College, Jalandhar . It was a Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills.
Principal of the School Anjli Sharma said at the moment that the highlights of the workshop were the inputs on various aspects associated with Life Skills which entailed thinking skills, social skills and emotional skills. Furthermore the ‘Hierarchy of Needs’ propounded by an eminent psychologist Abraham Maslow was reiterated wherein the participants were imparted the knowledge of varied needs viz. physiological, love and belongingness, self esteem and self-actualization.

Chairman of the School Karnail Singh Brar while speaking at the said that we aimed at enhancing teaching and research capabilities of educators. Such program enables the participants to develop competence in general management, understand recent advances in management research, and learn to improve pedagogies, effective presentation techniques, and behavioral skills to be an effective faculty.
