    Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the Central and State Governments are working round the clock to provide facilities to common people. Public welfare schemes are being prepared keeping in mind the problems and issues of the poor. All the people of the society are being uplifted by these schemes. The Chief Minister was speaking at a programme organized at a private palace in Ladwa late in the evening on Wednesday. Earlier, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, MP Naveen Jindal and former Minister of State Subhash Sudha offered floral tributes to the picture of Bharat Mata and inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. After this, the Chief Minister interacted with the workers and people of Ladwa constituency. During this, the residents also put forth their problems. The Chief Minister said that the problem of each and every person will be resolved. The Chief Minister highlighted the schemes of the Centre and state, and said that it is the responsibility of all the workers to take each and every scheme of the government to the last person in the queue. Just as the workers have made the triple engine government in the state through their struggle, in the same way they will also play an important role in taking the benefits of the schemes of this triple engine government to the common people. He said on April 14, on the birth anniversary celebration of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is coming to Haryana to give gifts worth crores of rupees to the people of the state. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the airport in Hisar and lay the foundation stone of 800 MW thermal plant in Yamunanagar. He said based on the policy of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' and 'Haryana Ek Haryanvi Ek' in the state, the triple engine government will get the development work done at thrice the speed. The state government has prepared a complete blueprint to implement small and big projects in all areas of the state. The government is moving ahead with the idea of making every person of the state prosperous. Along with this, the government is giving importance to each and every problem of the common man and solving it. To ensure that the common man does not have to come to Chandigarh with his problems, Samadhan Shivirs are being organized twice a week at the district headquarters and subdivision level. No. IPRDH/2025 Deputy Commissioners to Hold Weekly Review Meetings on Samadhan Shivirs Every Friday: Chief Secretary Administrative Secretary-Level Officer to Oversee These Review Meetings Ensure smooth and timely lifting of crops from mandis: Chief Secretary Chandigarh, April 9 – Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi today issued directives to all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to hold review meetings every Friday to review the status of grievances registered during Samadhan Shivirs (Complaint Redressal Camps). These camps, aimed at addressing public grievances, are being organized across the state every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. To ensure accountability, an officer of Administrative Secretary rank will monitor these district-level reviews from the Chief Minister’s Dashboard Hall. The instructions were given during a video conference meeting where the Chief Secretary reviewed the functioning of grievance redressal camps and the ongoing procurement of Rabi crops. Sh. Rastogi urged the Deputy Commissioners to ensure that complaints received at the Samadhan Shivirs are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of citizens. "Regular monitoring and swift action are key to improving transparency and responsiveness in handling grievances across Haryana," he emphasized. The Friday review meetings should also be attended by key district officials, including the Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) (Headquarters), SDO (Civil), Deputy Superintendent of Police, and heads of relevant departments, ensuring a coordinated approach to problem-solving. The Chief Secretary also instructed the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to develop a portal for DCs to submit monthly reports on their mandatory night halts in villages, a practice aimed at fostering closer engagement with villagers. Dr. Priyanka Soni, Special Secretary, Monitoring and Coordination, said out of over 1 lakh grievances received until yesterday, an impressive 81% have been resolved. Districts such as Ambala and Rewari lead with a 92% resolution rate, followed closely by Fatehabad, Palwal, and Rohtak, each at 88%. On the procurement front, the Chief Secretary underscored the importance of a hassle-free procurement process for Rabi crops. "Farmers should face no inconvenience, and any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated," he said, directing officials to strengthen oversight in mandis, provide comprehensive support to farmers and ensure smooth and timely lifting of crops from mandis. Sh. Rastogi also called for efforts to educate farmers on maintaining wheat within permissible moisture limits to ensure quality and smooth procurement. Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, shared that 2,47,000 Metric Tonnes (MT) of wheat has been procured in mandis till yesterday, a significant increase from the 1,86,000 MT recorded during the same period last year. Additionally, 2,95,000 MT of mustard has also been procured. To facilitate timely payments to farmers, the Finance Department and the Reserve Bank of India have sanctioned a Cash Credit Limit (CCL) of ₹6,653.44 crore for wheat procurement during the Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2025–26. Nayab Singh Saini said that all students studying in government schools across the state will receive their textbooks by April 15. He said that students of private schools are free to purchase their books from any bookshop and are not bound to buy from a single designated shop. Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said this while chairing a meeting on wednesday with officers of the School Education, Technical Education, and Higher Education Departments regarding the implementation of the National Education Policy. Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda was also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister directed officers to identify all the subjects related to the education sector mentioned in the Budget Speech for the financial year 2025–26 and to initiate swift action on them. He said that collective efforts must be made to provide quality education in the state. Previous 10 years’ question papers and mock tests to be uploaded on the Education Board Website- CM The Chief Minister directed officers to upload the previous 10 years’ question papers and mock tests of board classes on the Board of School Education Haryana’s website so that students can benefit from studying them. He further directed officers concerned to form a committee to make necessary changes in the board examination question papers in line with the National Education Policy. Focus to be laid on cleanliness, greenery, painting, and slogans in Educational Institutions-CM Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that special classes on sports and cleanliness should be initiated in schools and cleanliness activities must be carried out at the school level. He also directed that special attention be given to cleanliness, greenery, painting, and motivational slogans in educational institutions so that students feel inspired to attend school. The Chief Minister directed the officers concerned to ensure that no seat remains vacant in any school under the Right to Education (RTE) Act and that all seats in higher educational institutions are filled. He further said that it is mandatory for Group A and B officers to dedicate one day every month to spend time in a government school, and directed the preparation of a proper plan for its implementation. National Education Policy to be fully implemented in Haryana this year The Chief Minister directed officers to ensure the complete implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) in the state this year. He emphasized the importance of creating awareness about the policy through discussions with youth and students. He further added that students should be strengthened from the school level itself with regard to NEP-related reforms. The Chief Minister said that students and teachers who perform well will be duly encouraged and rewarded. Framework to be prepared soon for organizing Haryana Math Olympiad and visits to Research Centers To promote mathematical thinking among students, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini informed that a framework will soon be prepared for organizing the Haryana Math Olympiad for students of Classes 10 to 12. Additionally, meritorious students from Classes 6 to 12 will be taken on educational visits to premier technical institutions such as ISRO, DRDO, and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. The Chief Minister directed officers to develop a tracking portal for higher educational institutions similar to the existing portal used for tracking schools. He further directed that a list be prepared of those colleges in the state whose applications for accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) were rejected, so that necessary steps can be taken to address the shortcomings that led to their rejection. One Government college in every district to be developed as a Model Sanskriti College The Chief Minister was apprised that one government college in each district of Haryana has been identified to be developed as a Model Sanskriti College. These institutions will focus on achieving high academic standards, dedicated teaching infrastructure, and special emphasis on student welfare. The Chief Minister directed the officers to expedite the construction of new college buildings currently underway across the state. Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sh. Vij inspected the arrangements regarding the proposed visit of the Prime Minister to Yamunanagar Sh. Vij inspected the thermal power plant established in Yamunanagar Chandigarh, April 9 – Haryana Energy Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that an 800 MW supercritical thermal unit will be established in Yamunanagar. This unit will employ cutting-edge technology and will help reduce pollution. He was interacting with the media persons after inspecting the preparations for the proposed visit of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi to Yamunanagar. Before the inspection, Sh. Vij held a meeting with officers at the venue and gave necessary directions regarding arrangements. During the inspection, Sh. Vij informed that the Prime Minister will visit Yamunanagar on April 14 to lay the foundation stone of the third 800 MW unit of the Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Plant. This will enhance the state's electricity generation capacity and provide significant benefits. A plant is planned in Khedar and two in Panipat – Vij He added that the government is planning to set up a similar plant in Khedar and two in Panipat. These thermal units will boost our power generation and reduce dependence on external power sources. Fuel price hikes will not affect the public – Vij When asked about the increase in petrol and diesel prices, he clarified that the burden of this hike will not be passed on to the public. Ensuring prompt resolution to the problems of everyone is my top priority– Vij Regarding the strike by Haryana Roadways employees, Sh. Vij said that he regularly listens to the concerns of employees in all departments under me and helps them as much as possible. No such issue from Roadways employees has been brought to my notice. Sh. Vij thoroughly inspected every aspect of the Prime Minister’s proposed rally on April 14 He said that he reviewed all the arrangements made by the officials and ensured that every detail was being handled with care. "I’ve given various instructions based on my experience of attending such rallies during my 40 years in politics," he said. He also shared all important points that came to my attention with the officers. Energy Minister reviewed various arrangements and gave directions Sh. Vij directed the officers to ensure proper arrangements for drinking water, toilets, parking, security, and seating for the public attending the event. He also discussed at length with officials the PM’s route plan, VIP toilets, media center setup, equipment to be installed in the media center, stage seating and other relevant issues. Sh. Vij inspected the thermal power plant established in Yamunanagar Later, the Energy Minister, along with senior officers and engineers, inspected the existing thermal power plant in Yamunanagar and gathered information about the technology being used. The officers provided him with complete details regarding power generation at the plant. No. IPRDH/ 2025 Poshan Pakhwada to be celebrated until April 22 Campaign to raise awareness on nutritious diet Chandigarh, April 9 – The Government of India is observing Poshan Pakhwada (Nutrition Fortnight) from April 8 to April 22. The initiative, launched recently, aims to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition among pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescents, and children under the age of six. Each day during the fortnight will focus on a different theme related to improving nutrition. An official spokesperson shared that government officials have been directed to concentrate on the first 1,000 days of a child’s life during this campaign, ensuring proper nutrition for pregnant women and infants. He said that special emphasis should be given on promoting self-registration and digital tracking of nutrition services and strengthening the implementation of protocols through the Community-Based Management (CMM) module. Additionally, the campaign aims to raise awareness about maintaining a healthy diet and adopting healthy lifestyle habits. The spokesperson highlighted that malnourished children often face developmental delays, which not only affect their mental growth but also reduce their self-confidence and make them vulnerable to various diseases. It is the collective responsibility of society to combat child malnutrition. He further stated that officers and employees from all departments involved in the nutrition campaign have been instructed to collaborate in identifying undernourished children, improving their nutrition, and ensuring the welfare of pregnant women, lactating mothers, and adolescent girls. A key meeting took place between Haryana Agriculture Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana and Agriculture and Food Security Minister, Israel, Sh. Avi Dichter, at the Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for Vegetables in Gharaunda (Karnal). This meeting was held a day after both countries signed an agreement and action plan on agricultural cooperation in New Delhi. During the meeting, Sh. Avi Dichter emphasized the need for water recycling in view of the issue of water pollution in Haryana. He said that everyone must use polluted water for irrigation. He advised Haryana to explore possibilities in this direction. Sh. Dichter also invited Haryana Agriculture Minister, Sh. The Agriculture Minister also highlighted Haryana’s geographical diversity and stated that despite being a small state, Haryana has made a significant contribution to the nation’s armed forces and in winning medals at international sporting events, he said. Israel Minister, Sh. Avi Dichter appreciated the development of greenhouses and advanced farming systems in Haryana. He spoke about techniques like hydroponics, where plants signal their own need for nutrients. He also expressed a desire to jointly develop high-quality citrus fruit varieties—such as the Israeli lemon—by adapting them to Haryana’s climate. Discussions held regarding Natural Farming Progress and Future Technologies with Israeli Counterpart Sh. Shyam Singh Rana discussed the state's progress in natural farming and explored the potential of techniques like trellising and multi-story mushroom farming. Emphasizing the need to reduce post-harvest losses, he stated that a large portion of our agricultural produce is lost after harvesting. We are working on minimizing post-harvest losses. No. IPRDH/2025 Health Minister chairs the District Public Relations and Grievance Committee meeting Resolve every individual's problem on a priority basis- Arti Singh Rao Chandigarh, April 9 – Haryana Health, Medical Education, Research and AYUSH Minister, Kumari Arti Singh Rao, chaired the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Committee held in Palwal district on Wednesday. She directed the officers concerned to address every grievance on a priority basis. During this, 12 out of the 13 complaints were resolved on the spot. During the meeting, Jyoti Sharma from Palwal submitted a complaint stating that HAFED and the warehouse had encroached upon her land. After hearing the matter, the Health Minister directed that possession of the applicant’s land should be returned to her. For this, she ordered the appointment of a duty magistrate to ensure possession is handed back. The Health Minister also ordered a thorough investigation into the matter.
