With the arrest of accused Ajay Khatri (22 yrs) S/o Vishnu Khattri R/o # 1277 Sec 21 C Chd. & R/o # 1236-A infront of Ram Leela Ground, Dera Bassi, Distt. Mohali, PB two cases i.e one House theft and another Burglary have been worked out by the staff of PS-36, Chandigarh.
A case FIR No. 179 dt. 12.5.18 u/s 380 added 411 IPC was registered on the complaint of Bikramjit Singh S/o S. Kulwant Singh R/o # 783, 1st floor, Sec-43 A, Chd. He reported on 12.5.18 from 2 AM to 2.30 AM some unknown person had stolen Hundai Creata car No. CH01-BF-5002, Mobile Phone (Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 NEO, XAIOMI M12), Tablet-XAOMI-i Pad, Laptop make Lenevo, Purse from his house. During the course of investigation stolen Creata car No. CH01-BF-5002 recovered as unclaimed.
Whereas special team was constituted to nab the accused and recover the remaining stolen property. A special team did commendable job by arresting the accused Ajay Khatri on 23.5.18. During interrogation three mobile phones, one tablet, laptop and original key of vehicle were recovered from him.
During the interrogation of said case accused disclosed that in the intervening night of 20/21.5.18 he had also committed a theft in # 3032, Sec-35, Chd and stolen DSR Camera, Mobile Phone make REDMI one Gold Ring, one Titan watch and Cash Rs. 9000/-. A case FIR No. 196 dt. 21.5.18 u/s 380 IPC PS-36, Chandigarh was already registered in this regard in PS-36,Chd. On his confession he was also arrested in case FIR No. 196/18 PS-36.

On 24.5.18 he was produced before the court of Sh Harleen Pal Singh JMIC, Chandigarh and obtained one day police remand. More recovery are yet to be effected from him.
