Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-19 & PS-36, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 26.03.2018. Accused later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.
Snatching
Sh. Dheeraj Kumar R/o # 82, Kishangarh, Chandigarh alleged that three unknown person on motor cycle snatched away cash Rs. 10,000/- from complainant near T-point, Golf turn, Chandigarh on 25.03.2018. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 356, 379, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Sh. Parminder R/o CITCO Dispensary, Phase-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away TVS Jupiter Scooter No. CH-01BB-2335 while parked at backside Parking, Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 40, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Sh. Amandeep Singh R/o # 2023-C, Sector 63, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Yamaha M/Cycle No. PB-03AH-8380 while parked near his residence between 13-03-2018 and 26-03-2018 Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 51, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 87, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against driver of Innova car No. CH-01AZ-7269 namely Anit Sharma R/o # 38, Dhanas, Chandigarh who took away said car which was impounded by traffic staff near Children Traffic Park, Sector 23, Chandigarh on 26.03.2018. Later accused arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Punit Kumar R/o # 199, Block ‘K’, Colony No. 4, Chandigarh against driver of car No. HR-03T-0163 namely Vikram R/o # 960, Sector-9, Panchkula(HR) who hit to Complainant’s M/Cycle CH-01BJ-2759 near light point, Sector 29/30, Chandigarh on 25.03.2018. Accused arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
