A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. He later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested for Theft through ATM card
Sh. Ashok Sinha, Chief Manager, Canara Bank, Sector-19, Chandigarh reported that one person namely Afroz Alam R/o # 119, Gali No. 7, Bhagirathi, Bihar, Gokulpur, Delhi-94 withdrawn cash Rs. 35,000/- from customers account by cheating at ATM, Branch Sector 19, Chandigarh. Alleged person caught on 15.05.2018 A case FIR No. 150, U/S 379, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Afroz Alam has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Puneet Wadhwa R/o # 290, Sector 44A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away two wheels of his car No. CH01BA-0522 while parked near House No. 395, Sector 44A, Chandigarh on night intervening 14/15-05-2018.
