Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17 & PS-MJ, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Both later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Chandigarh Police arrested Santosh R/o # 150, Ph-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh, Manshep R/o # 251, Ph-2, BDC, Sec-26, Chandigarh, Sarman R/o # 281, Ph-2, BDC, Sec-26, Chandigarh and Noor R/o # 281, Ph-2, BDC, Sec-26, Chandigarh while they were gambling at Jungle Area near Fatak, Mani Majra, Chandigarh and recovered cash Rs. 13,700/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 214, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. All later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vineet Gulati R/o # 3489, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh reported that Ajay Chandra & others Ms. Unitech Ltd, SCO No. 189, Sector 17C, Chandigarh and Office N-56, Greater Kailash, New Delhi cheated complainant regarding sale of commercial property at Gloria Garden, Sector 106, Mohali (PB). Sh. Chander Arora R/o # 3424/1, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh alleged that two unknown person (key maker) stolen away gold/diamond ornaments worth Rs. 8 lakh and some cash from his residence between 30.04.2018 to 07.05.2018.
