One arrested for consuming liquor at public place
A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 02.04.2018. Accused later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Sh. Vinod Kumar R/o # 1074, Sector-2, Panchkula (HR) alleged that Rakesh Kumar R/o # 838, Dana Mandir, Ambala (HR) was caught red handed while he was stealing complainant’s M/Cycle No. MP-04MF-4103 near Market, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 02-04-2018. Accused has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 138, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Pushpal Singh R/o # 1894, Sector-22/B, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Skoda car No. CH-01AD-7894 sped away after hitting to Complainant (pedestrian) near Aroma light point, Chandigarh on 02-04-2018. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh where he was referred to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Scooter driver got injured and admitted in Mayo Hospital, Sector 69, Mohali (PB). Investigation of the case is in progress.

Motor Cycle driver got injured and declared brought dead at PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
