Breakthrough signed MOU with Haryana Schools for gender curriculum
Breakthrough has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Haryana Department of Education to integrate its ‘Taaron Ki Toli’ gender curriculum into the state’s educational framework for the next three years.
This partnership aims to reshape gender attitudes, aspirations, and behaviors among students in grades six to eight across 125 schools in Haryana. The ‘Taaron Ki Toli’ curriculum utilizes interactive methods to facilitate discussions on critical gender-related issues.
As part of this collaboration, Breakthrough will serve as the gender technical partner, responsible for training teachers to effectively deliver the curriculum and enhance gender sensitivity in the classroom.
It showcases a powerful public-private partnership to address gender inequalities at the grassroots level.
